Celebrated Nolan’s NINTH birthday which meant a treasure map to find his presents (birthday tradition in our house), a trip to Target, all his fave foods and of course plenty of Legos. We also had his party with family and friends the weekend after his birthday to celebrate our big nine year old. NINE! I can’t get over it.
Had a couple of snow days that weren’t really great snow days to play in the snow so hopefully we’ll get another one or two good ones this season!?
We’ve been spending a lot of time caring for our sick kitty Greta… she’s a very anxious cat and got scared with the basement remodel, stopped eating and using her litter box, ended up with a UTI and fatty liver disease. She’s doing better now but, we have been through this kind of thing with her before and it’s really not a good situation, especially at 15 years old, so please just keep your fingers crossed for her that she starts eating on her own and continues to improve.
Set a date for Lasik surgery later this month and I can’t wait!
Other fun/social stuff: August celebrated his 100th day of kindergarten with an Among Us themed shirt I helped him design, figured out a new trick for organizing my screenshots to free up space on my phone, survived the annual HOA meeting drama, went to a Galentine’s Day Market with friends, and had the first food truck of 2023 visit our neighborhood for a tasty Mexican dinner! A neighbor started setting those up for us in 2020 and I love that it’s continued… it’s quite nice to walk out my front door to go grab a quality margarita and an entire family meal!!
